Arts award review

we had to do a review for a film called THE BIG LEWBOWSKI this is a film that was made by the coan brothers.

we had a few questions on a piece of paper and had to ask them before we watched it,
one of the questions was why was that film picked. The reason the film was chosen was because it has been directed by the coan brothers wich is clives favorite directors  another reason the The Big Lebowski  was chosen because the characters used in the movie and who people call "The Dude" and "The Dude" got ranked the 7th best character ranked by the Times and this is the reason they chosen this film to watch at Film Club,

the film has several genres the main two are comedy and parody

The film age rateing is 18 due to the violence and strong language.

the story was confusing because it kept switching back and forth with the story so it confused me a lot.

  • Jeffrey Lebowski - The Dude
  • Walter
  • Maude Lebowski
  • Theodore Donald
  • Donny
  • Jeffrey Lebowski - The Big Lebowski

Even though i didn't understand the story i think that it was put together in a really good way.

the movie was played because of a event in collage that was called film club i think it would have been good if we could have watched a better film. in my opinion i think it would have been better if we watched, green street, friday, next friday, friday after the next, 21 jump street, they are just a few examples

the story line was confusing because it was switching from character too different character

the acting was really good as i never seen these act before so watching them was like a new experience

i did not notice anything special about the lighting they may have been special lighting for certain parts but i did not notice.

the music that was used was smart because they music was relevant to the scene that was showing at the time for example  it doesn't show a fighting scene and play circus music.

the script that was used was smart because the language that was used for different parts in the movie was good. and well put together.

the camera work was also good because it used various angles in scenes from closeups to long distance it would show the emotion on the actors faces so was well thought out and excited.

As i said i didn't fully understand the story because it was confusing to me but I enjoyed the film as A whole i did enjoy this movie.

below is the proof that I attended the big Lebowski film

Planning stages for my project

 Planning stages for my project

health and safety issue standard health and safety issues apply wich are no eating and drinking in a classroom

the resources i will need are a computer with photoshop, a colour printer and a camera

the space/ venue for this will be somewhere that we know would be doing work example music hall or class room

it would only take us a few minutes to get the pictures buit the longest parts will be actually uploading the pictures from the camera to the computer. and

first we we need a template for were the photos text the headings etc would be placed in accordance with what we have done

I will be responsible for they layout of the poster here are a few ideas. that I will suggest for  our group to do
A good poster usually makes you look at it awhile here is an example of one that was used in the past it makes you look longer than usual

after agreeing on the template i will look for some cleaver posters that have already been created and use them like a baseline so i have an idea on what i want the finished product to possibly look like

the main thing people focus on are the things that are just off centre as it gets your attention the most most good ad companies use this princable these days. As back then companies were unable to use pictures of the specific product. so they had to resort to cleaver advertising

i will then go around with jodie who will be taking pictures to help decide on what they should be and if thy will fit into the poster when we put everything together

here are some of the pictures that Jodie has taken and i used three of these in my poster that i have created with help from Jodie

i have put it into photoshop to finish

Review of my Supervised Leadership Project

The software that i have used is adobe Photoshop to put the poster together and chrome because i needed use of a internet browser. the crew in this project are Jodie and me. it took awhile to finish because more pictures were needed to be taken..

I was responsible for making the poster choosing the layout of how it looks.
I decided that i would put a liquid blue effect as it would help the content on the poster stand out. I also put a few pictures onto the poster to show some people working in the course

How well I worked with others
there was three people in my team me Jodie and James. me and Jodie have worked well together. James has not been in since the first week of this specific project. so had to come up with the plan etc between us. we worked well together because the work that we were doing was put into a public folder so if one of us were not in the other person could easily get the work that was put into the public folder

this is the finished product that we have finished.together I would be  responsible of how the poster would initially look meaning the title the text background color how to make the pictures that Jodie would take stand out.etc while Jodie was responsible for going out and getting/taking the pictures needed for the poster.

To be in charge of this project felt good because I could have the layout how i wanted it instead of having to deal with someone else idea that i may have disagreed with it but still using there idea.

it was good working with Jodie because she wanted to go out and take the pictures and I wanted to do the layout we both decided to do what we were good with so we quickly decided what we were going to be doing and got this specific task complete quickly.

we set out to make a good quality poster together and i think we manged to do it do a good standard so i think that me and Jodie managed to work well as a team and made a good poster.

It was really easy for us to work together because we worked live in a classroom. We did not have to leave notes on what to do for other members of our team.

Peer Review and Reflection
i am pleased how the poster had turned out because i didn't expect it to be good so it turned out better then i had originally thought that it would

here is the finished poster that i used photoshop to make my poster

Below is a link to my online wall on padlet where I have uploaded the finished poster for feedback from my peers, showing that I have shared the work with others. I have also included my response and review on these comments.

my final animation video for arts award challenge

this is my animation that i have done i had problems coming up with the animation so just did somthing extremely simple in the end.
this is when i was editing my video and putting the credits onto the video. the things I would change the next time would be that I would come up with an idea sooner then leaving it till the last minute and haveing to rush at the last minute

we were tasked to create a short animation.that we have made and use software called Istopmotion3, and we used a plug and play recorder that we used to take a series of still images together to make our short animation. film\clip

Evaluation and how I felt on my Arts Award Challenge

I have shared my arts award challenge with others by putting my final animation up on an online wall called padlet and asking other people in the class to review it and add comments. The link to it is here:

http://padlet.com/stephenclark613/7ibyuuh1vn95

I enjoyed making the animation. I felt it was too basic, The things I would change next time would be coming up with the actual idea as it took me awhile. With more time I would be able to make more detailed models for my animation. I feel more confident in this area.
